The film combines elements of crime and deep emotion in a grand narrative, with an impressive ensemble cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui in his Telugu debut, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Jeremiah, Arya, and Ruhani Sharma in key roles.

Venkatesh delivers a commendable performance as a single parent protecting and caring for his daughter, but excels in his portrayal of the enigmatic Saiko. The first half of the film establishes the locale of Chandraprastha and the lives of Saindhav, his daughter Gayathri, and their neighbor Manogya.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Tollywood debut as Vikas Malik captivates with his body language and bilingual dialogues, adding depth and entertainment to the film. Other cast members, such as Arya, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Jisshu Sengupta, Mukesh Rishi, and Jayaprakash, deliver decent performances. The cinematography by Manikandan, editing by Garry BH, and art direction by Kolla Avinash contribute to the film’s production values, but the action choreography leaves room for improvement.

Saindhav is a stylish action thriller directed by Sailesh Kolanu, but the film lacks a tight and gripping story backed by twists. The inclusion of numerous characters without proper establishment contributes to a cluttered and disjointed storyline, with the single parent fighting for his daughter’s rare disease and linking it with the mafia backdrop being challenging to balance. The narration is clumsy and dragged, and the film picks up momentum as it approaches the midpoint.

The silver lining in Saindhav is father-daughter emotion, but the second half is a typical hero vs villain battle with the hero having the upper hand. The protagonist Saindhav is projected as mighty and powerful, but there is not enough justification for his power. The writing is cliche and looks unconvincing.

The ending is not predictable, and Sailesh saves something for the climax, but by then, audiences are tired. Despite the stylish presentation, Saindhav fails to deliver an engaging narrative and emotional depth. The film’s inspiration comes from ‘John Wick’, with the hero leaving the crime world for his loved one, similar to the Hollywood movie’s story of taking revenge on his dead dog.
