iQOO has confirmed the launch of its iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones, which will be launched in China on December 27. The iQOO Neo9 series will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a Dimensity 9300 platform, with a dedicated Q1 chip for e-sports. The iQOO Watch and TWS 1e devices will also be introduced alongside the iQOO Neo9 series. The iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro will feature different processors and will be available in China this month.
iQOO Neo 9 Launch Date in India
Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo has announced the launch date for the upcoming iQoo Neo 9 smartphones, which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. The iQoo Neo 9 lineup will be available in three colors, including dual-color options, plain Blue or Black versions, and retains the two-camera design and Neo branding.
However, it is expected that iQoo will launch these phones in India a few days after the launch in China. It is expected that iQOO will launch these phones in India by 2024.
iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro Specifications
The iQOO Neo 9 mobile, launched in December 2023, features a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB of RAM, and runs on Android 14.
The phone has a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, and a single front camera for selfies with a 32-megapixel sensor. It supports 100W Fast Charging fast charging. The phone supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.30, NFC, Infrared, and USB Type-C connectivity options. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
The iQOO Neo 9 and Neo9 Pro are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and feature a Q1 chip. The iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro have a similar screen, plastic middle frame, and 50MP IMX920 OIS main sensor, with a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide camera and 120W fast charging.
iQOO Watch and TWS
The event will introduce vivo’s iQOO TWS 1e and iQOO Watch wireless earphones, rebranded as vivo TWS 3e and vivo Watch 3, respectively. The Q1 chip, a display driver designed for gaming, will learn popular games and maintain a 144 Hz refresh rate, but limited to 135 games in China.
