2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS: Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated GLS and GLS Maybach for global markets, featuring minor cosmetic changes, new features, and software upgrades. Mercedes-Benz GLS Design
The Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift has introduced a new design with notable styling differences. The larger grille is now larger and finished in a ‘Silver Shadow’ color, while the bumper is more prominent, integrated air inlet grilles, and a redesigned under guard are also present. The 20-inch multispoke alloy wheels are standard and finished in Himayas grey. The GLS continues to be a top choice for the automaker, especially among high-profile individuals. The global showcase of the 2024 GLS facelift took place earlier this year, featuring a modified front grille, headlamp cluster, front bumper, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The new GLS will feature minor cosmetic upgrades over the outgoing model, including a redesigned bumper, a new grille, air inlet grilles, high-gloss black surrounds, and a new alloy wheel design. The dashboard layout will remain the same inside, with glossy brown lime wood trim and new upholstery options. The MBUX infotainment system will also feature a permanent low-speed 360-degree camera.
The new GLS will come with two engine options: a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo petrol engine called GLS 450 and a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo diesel engine called GLS 400d. Both engines will be paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and a 4-Matic AWD system as standard. The GLS 450’s 3.0-liter in-line-6-cylinder petrol engine delivers robust performance, while the 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel-drive system ensure smooth and responsive driving.
